American researchers, on the brink of “creating” the invisible man
Researchers argue that Americans are very close to the creation of materials to make people invisible. The first sample was already created in nano scale and in the future could be reproduced in sizes large enough to make people “disappear”.
Scientists from the University of Berkeley, California have developed a material capable to curve light around a 3D object, thus making it to “disappear”, inform bbc.co.uk.
This material does not exist in their natural state, but was created on a nano scale, measuring one billion of a meter. Researchers argue that the principles by which this material was created could be developed on a larger scale, to create an invisible cloak large enough to make a man disappear.
The new system works like water that floats around the stones, the researchers argue. Because light is not absorbed or reflected by the object, the object became invisible.
Scientific study is funded by the U.S. Government, and could be used for future military operations, to make a tank to “disappear” in frot of the enemies.
